Xander is THREE!

Xander officially turned three on Monday. We gave him a few more presents and he got some phone calls and well wishes from family and friends, but in his mind he already had his birthday. He is a very funny boy and he rules the house! He says the funniest things and is very creative and imaginative. I love to listen to him play with his toys, he's started making toys talk to each other and can play alone for quite a while. He's definitely turning more preschooler than toddler! We love our little man!

We found a cash register at the DI a while ago that was in pretty bad shape, but he loved it so much that we gave him a new one with food and money and a working belt and microphone (clean-up on aisle 10). This is the gift he's played with the most so far. He rings things up and gives me money and loves talking into the microphone.

He is in love with anything Toy Story right now so we got him a magnetic set with different backgrounds that he can play with (great for in the car or at church!).

And Xander still loves puzzles, this set has two Toy Story puzzles, one Cars puzzle, and a Mickey Mouse puzzle and they all store right in the box!

We didn't do a cake, but I did let him pick whatever he wanted for dinner......chicken nuggets, of course! If you ask him about his cake he will tell you about the one we had at his party. Maybe we are lame, but his party was pretty awesome so we decided to be pretty laid back on the day of because he's young enough that he doesn't really understand. We played a lot and I think he had a pretty good day.
