18 Months Old

This post is about a month late. But I wanted to comment on Sebastian turning 18 months old. He is a monster and an angel, a joy and a terror! I love this sweet little man with everything in me and I'm so glad I get to be his mom. Sebastian loves to smile and laugh and dance. When he eats ice cream he does a happy dance. A boy after my own heart! Sebastian loves rocks, and he likes to throw them. He loves balls, and he likes to throw them. He loves grapes, and he likes to throw them. Ok, so he likes to throw just about anything. Sebastian loves, loves, loves his big brother. He gives him hugs when he cries, he copies just about anything he can, and he lights up when his brother is around. He also gets very excited when daddy comes home. He runs for the door with a big grin on his face and says, "dada!" And he loves his momma. He generally saves his best snuggles for me and does not like it when I leave him. He is on the small side, but he's perfect. At his 18 month appointment he weighed 19 pounds 11 ounces and was 31 inches tall (for those statisticians he is in the 3.4% for weight and 9.5% for height). One of his favorite meals is tilapia, rice-a-roni, and broccoli. The other thing he loves is pasta, he's not too picky.....macaroni and cheese, baked ziti.........he loves it all!

Part of the reason for the delay in this post was because I wanted to take some new pictures of this cute boy. We went out one night past bedtime so I could get the sun I wanted and he smiled fabulously! Of course he wouldn't let his brother touch him (he couldn't be perfect right?) so the two brother shots are not quite what I wanted, but I do think the ones I got are adorable! Keep your eye out for the rock in his hand in almost every shot!

I made this picture a little softer and still haven't decided if I like that, I may go back to the original and re-edit this one. I do love the look on his face and the general feel of it though.

This boy is a great laugher.........especially when big brother Alexander is around!

The other thing he loves is climbing, he is constantly climbing and giving me heart attacks! He didn't get too high up this fence though, thank goodness!

I really, really like how this one turned out. I didn't plan this, it just happened. I really can't remember what Alexander had just done, but Sebastian thought it was hilarious!

There was a piece of plywood on the ground, and Sebastian just randomly started dancing on it so Alexander joined him. They just look like they were being a bit silly, but trust me there is some serious dancing going on! Sebastian makes his own music and dances to it all the time. I am so thankful for these two precious boys who make me smile every day!
